STEC approval granted for WJIV OL

The Woodcock Johnson IV Tests of Oral Language (WJIV OL) has been approved for inclusion on the Pre-16 and Post-16 Lists of Suitable Tests for the Assessment of Specific Learning Difficulties.

STEC has approved the Woodcock Johnson IV Tests of Oral Language (WJIV OL) for inclusion on the Pre-16 and Post-16 Lists of Suitable Tests for the Assessment of Specific Learning Difficulties. The WJ IV OL is part of the WJIV suite of tests and is designed to be used alongside WJIV Cog and WJIV ACH. WJIV OL is designed to measure areas of oral language, including listening comprehension, oral expression, phonetic decoding, speed of lexical access and vocabulary. STEC/SASC Guidance on using the WJIV OL within a diagnostic assessment will be available in early 2023.
